November was an interesting month to NCAA hockey and this season is starting to round into form. We had a recruiting battle lead to coaches yelling at each other post game. We had a leader emerge as the definite team to beat in the B1G. Atlantic Hockey has a program in their first season under a new coach in first place, a year after finishing in the league basement. The ECAC favorite is scuffling and could lose a top player to the Olympics, and picking a leader in Hockey East is murky as can be. Let’s take a look at what happened in NCAA hockey in November and look ahead to some December storylines.
Each Wednesday we look to highlight commitments made across college hockey. I will try to predict when a player will arrive on campus but as we all know that can be flexible in NCAA Hockey. Check below to review the commitments made since July 26.
It would be hard to top the 15 commitments of last week, but while this week has lower quantity it certainly is not hurting for quality. This week the recruiting for 2020-21 got into full gear with 5 commitments that far out.
