Wednesday Commit Roundup: August 30, 2017

This week saw the Mavericks of Nebraska-Omaha secure two commitments, including a commitment from one of the last four NTDP U17 players that were uncommitted. Minnesota continued to build their class of 2020-21 and a new coach at Michigan Tech reached into Minnesota for a new commitment as well. With classes starting at many schools across the country it didn’t stop one program from obtaining a late prospect for next season. Mel Pearson continued his summer of recruiting victories, the South Kent School placed another future prospect and the WCHA saw some talented players pledge to member programs. Wednesday Commit Roundup: August 16, 2017

This week saw a late commitment for Quinnipiac to come on campus for the fall, Ohio State continue to pick up strong players after land Arlo Merritt last week and Miami picked up the younger sibling of a current commit also. This week saw Danton Cole and the Michigan State Spartans continue their hot streak, earning a 4th and 5th commitment in 2 weeks, and saw a top 2002 birthdate also choose a B1G school. It would be hard to top the 15 commitments of last week, but while this week has lower quantity it certainly is not hurting for quality. This week the recruiting for 2020-21 got into full gear with 5 commitments that far out.
